Ok. I've had this idea for quite sometime to open a cooking school. Not just your normal cooking school but a hip happening place great for dates and/or social networking, a girls night out or just something new to do in the city. Now, this is not exactly a new concept, but it definitly is in Birmingham, Al!!! I've found several places similar to what I am looking to do, but in larger cities such as New York, Miami and Los Angeles. Needless to say, they are a hit in those places!!!
Im wondering how this idea would be received in a city like Birmingham. We are always looking for something new to do, but how well do you think this idea will catch on???? Just want the opinions of other foodies in blogland!!!!

What Southern Soul is all about
I wanted to first introduce myself to everyone. My name is Stephanie D and I am a cooking instructor, cookbook author, radio show host and editor for an online publication. Almost everything I do centers around food. From a very young age, Ive enjoyed cooking. The result has always been seeing a smile on others faces which truly makes me happy.
